My name is Alex Young and I have been inspired and intrigued by abstract and macro digital photography for over 6 years now. I love to capture images where there is a hidden gem lurking within the shot and to highlight and curate that for the art lover. My art reflects my love of reflection and light that plays on or through objects and the ability to mask the real image to provide a bold, contemporary and abstract representation of it. I am self taught and have relied on my own talent and eye for the unusual to create my art.
I like to present my artwork using fine art printing on canvas, the bigger the better to emphasise the bold colours I love to produce. I now find myself exploring this new world and looking for ways to bring my art to the public attention.
